Summary: Arthur took one last look at himself in the mirror critically. It hadn’t been easy, but he had finally acquired all the clothing he needed to blend in with the people of the lower town. He had had to pay a few servants to fetch clothing, and the shirt he’d nabbed from Merlin on their last hunting trip.
All that remained was his mask.

It was useful that the Samhain festival involved the wearing of masks, it allowed one to conceal their identity. Traditionally it was supposed to be from evil spirits, but for Arthur it allowed him some true anonymity.

She shook her head. "We’re all booked out."

"There’s nowhere at all? My master will pay well, I promise."

"You speak from experience, huh?" she asked with a sly grin. Merlin felt himself flush at her strange behaviour, wondering what on earth she meant. "Well, there might be something… And lest I be the one who disturbs your trade. I know men such as yourself rely on being able to be discrete. I have one last room. It's very small, only the one bed. Mind, I suppose that won’t matter much to the pair of you. You’re not here to admire the interior."
