Work for a cause, not applause. Live life to express, not impress

This post is still a Work In Progress, because I'm trying to get my art scanned in. So it will still be a few days before they're completely up to day. So I've been playing around with this idea for a while, ever since I traced a picture of Merlin for practice and I realised I could turn it into something. Not really sure it properly qualifies as art because of the tracing. But the final thing is inspired by Andy Warhol and the pop art movement. Actually, changed my mind and decided to make it two pieces, because Warhol did it, so why can't I?

I've been working on making a piece of fanart for this fic for my friend as a (very, super-duper late) Christmas present and as a thank you for writing so many pieces for the Winter Knights fest which really helped us fill some slots in the fest on weeks we were running a bit sparse on fic/art.

I started drawing it in December before stopping with it for various reasons, mostly not being sure how to move forward with it. Here's the pencil draft that I scanned in:
